Directions to UTS from Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport

Option 1 – about 85 miles, mostly Interstate and four-lane highway with a few traffic lights and two miles of two-lane highway:

1. Leaving Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, take Camp Creek Parkway west to I-285 North.
2. Take I-285 North for 17 miles to I-75 North.
3. Stay on I-75 for 30 miles.
4. Take Exit 290 and go west (turn left at the bottom of the exit ramp, going back under the expressway) on GA Hwy 20 forl 2.3 miles.
5. Turn left at the stoplight. Go 75 yards, and turn right onto Hwy. US 41N/411S/ GA 20 W toward Rome.
6. Travel approximately 3 miles (through four stop lights) and turn right onto the Rome exit (still Hwy. 411). The turn will be approximately 0.1 mile past the fourth stop light.
7. Stay on 411 for 19.5 miles. You will go through one stop light.
8. At the second stop light (a Shell station will be on your left), turn right onto the Rome Bypass (GA Loop 1). There will be a sign saying Berry College. Follow that arrow.
9. Continue on the Rome Bypass for approximately 10 miles to Mathis Drive. There will be a stoplight with a pharmacy on your right and a BP Station/Convenience Store across the intersection to your left front.
10. Turn right onto Mathis Drive.
11. UTS offices are 100 yards up Mathis Drive on the right (just past the Kids Stop Day Care Center).

Option 2 – about 77 miles with no Interstate highways but a number of traffic lights and 15 miles of two-lane highway:

1. Leaving Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport take Camp Creek Parkway (US Hwy. 278 West) towards Rockmart.
2. Stay straight on US 278 for approximately 50 miles until you reach Hwy. 101 in Rockmart. Turn right at the light next to Hardee’s.
3. Continue on Hwy. 101 towards Rome for approximately 15 miles.
4. Take the exit ramp off Hwy. 101 onto US 411 towards Cartersville.
5. Turn left at the Shell Station stoplight onto the Rome Bypass (GA Loop 1).
6. Continue on the Rome Bypass for approximately 10 miles to Mathis Drive. There will be a stoplight with a pharmacy on your right and a BP Station/Convenience Store across the intersection to your left front.
7. Turn right onto Mathis Drive.
8. UTS offices are 100 yards up Mathis on the right (just past the Kids Stop Day Care Center).
