• Windows XP Professional or Windows 2000 Professional (Service Pack 4)
• 256 MB of RAM
• 1 GB of available hard drive space
• 8X speed CD-ROM
• 800 X 600 color monitor with 16-bit color video card
• 56K Internet connection (Internet access required)
• 100% HP compatible printer
• Internet Explorer 6.0

Note:

• InterviewPLUS® Online requires a broadband Internet connection (DSL, cable modem, or T1/T3).
• W-2 and 1099 forms printed with the new TaxWise W-2/1099 program must be printed on a laser printer.

Recommended System Requirements

For professional results, we recommend the following system requirements for TaxWise products:

• 2.0 GHz processor or higher
• 512 MB or more of RAM
• Microsoft® Windows XP (SP2)
• 32-speed or higher CD-ROM Drive
• Super VGA 1024 x 768, High Color/16 Bit display or better
• Microsoft® Internet Explorer 6.0 (SP1 or higher)
• A high-speed Internet connection (DSL, cable modem, or T1/T3)
• A file backup system (backup tape, removable hard drive, CD-R, DVD-R, or similar)

For the best printing results, use a laser printer. Ink jet printers can be used but they may print slowly.

TaxWise products work with Windows Vista. Microsoft’s minimum requirements for running Windows Vista are as follows:

• 800 MHz processor
• 512 MB of system memory (1 GB recommended)
• 20 GB hard drive with 15 GB available
• Support for Super VGA graphics

Note: Minimum requirements provide adequate performance for many users depending on computer configuration. While TaxWise may run on configurations with fewer resources, we can not guarantee performance or capability.
