TaxWise University™, our web-based self-study system, eases the burden of training new staff and makes it convenient for your existing staff to take refresher courses. Students work independently through the online lessons. As the manager, you control the curriculum and get feedback on each student's progress.

As always, you and your staff can take courses on the basics of using TaxWise tax software for free. Free courses do not qualify for CPE credit.

Federal taxation online self-study series

Save money by purchasing this series along with an ExamMatrix exam review course.

This web-based, self-study program in federal taxation covers all the topics proposed for the IRS Registered Tax Return Preparer (RTRP) Exam*. Courses are available for one year from the date of purchase, so you have plenty of time to take each one and then review before taking the RTRP exam or the start of tax season. The IRS will launch the RTRP Exam in the fall of 2011.

TaxWise University™ offers courses approved by the California Tax Education Council (CTEC) to fulfill the 60-hour "qualifying education" requirement for tax preparers. The curriculum consists of our federal taxation online self-study series, plus the California taxation courses listed below.

If you are already a registered preparer with the State of California, these courses may apply toward the State's annual "continuing education" requirement.
